Brotha Lynch Hung Biography

Brotha Lynch Hung Biography

Brotha Lynch Hung (born Kevin Mann in 1970) is a prominent Sacramento rapper. He is famed for his use of highly violent and what could only be described as "Sicc" lyrics. Lynch has released over 20 albums in his 15 year career. In these albums hes collaborated with some of the west coast's finest, establishing a name for the Garden Blocc. His first rap group was Endangered Species in 1987 with his brother Sicx and X-Raided; they are now both serving time in prison. Lynch signed with Ced Singletons Black Market Records on his 1992 debut EP, 24 Deep, which featured stories of the struggles involved with being affiliated with a local street gang in Sacramento's "Garden Blocc".

His second album, Season of da Siccness, released in 1995, proved to be the one of the most gruesome and misogynistic gangsta rap albums ever released, graphically chronicling a life of drug use and sale, promiscuity, ultra-violence, rape, infanticide (he often spoke of eating and killing his baby momma's children while still in the womb), and supposed cannibalism. This is Lynch's most commercially successful album, as it has now achieved gold album sales status. Lynch has also become somewhat of an in-demand featured artist, his guest appearances now numbering in the triple digits. Artists Lynch has collaborated with include E-40 , MC Eiht, Tech N9ne, Master P, Snoop Dogg, Yukmouth, Explicit and C-Bo.
