Bring Back The S.O.U.L
#1   2010/04/26 05:28PM

In response to the senseless violence going in their hometown of Chicago, the dynamic duo, Emilio Bucks and Hassahn Phenomenon have linked up once again to bring back the S.O.U.L. with not only an awe-inspiring song, but also a well defined movement.

S.O.U.L is an acronym meaning, Saving Our Unique Legacy. This movement came out of the need for the world to bring back it's S.O.UL in regard to life, spirituality, and of course music.

Saving Our Unique Legacy
Joining Hip-Hop Artist/Songwriter, Hassahn Phenomenon and the incomparable producer, Emilio Bucks as a part on this movement are teenage R&B sensation, Mariah Duncan and the following seven incredible Chitown emcees;Spud, Precise, Black-I, S.I.N Extraordinaire, Headline,DV8, and Brando Star. Talented in their own right, these aforementioned artists took time out of their busy schedules to come together to show the urban youth of Chicago and the urban youth across the globe for that matter, that ignorance, senseless violence, and disrespect is not the answer and will no longer be tolerated. Hassahn Phenomenon said it best, "We are brilliant beyond belief as people and we absolutely must hold each of us to that standard." With the standard and the premise set for the S.O.U.L movement, Author, Dr. Marsan Q. Champion has also jumped on board and has allowed S.O.U.L to be the official soundtrack for his soon-to-be released book "Lost Soul" through Friesen Press publishing.
What started as an idea between Hassahn Phenomenon and Emilio Bucks has transitioned into uniquely divine song and the song has led to a powerful movement that will include a book release, tour, and eventually a non-profit organization. In this specific time in history where it may appear as though the worst things are affecting many around the globe, we have to know that each of us individually and collectively can make a change...We can "Save Our Unique Legacy".

About Hassahn Phenomenon
Legendary Emcee, Rakim, once said that "MC means move the crowd." Chicago native, Hassahn Phenomenon has taken the philosophy and ran with it. Currently living in Hollywood, CA, Hassahn is now making his mark on the industry with his brand new album "Pressure" which can be found on iTunes. He has also garnered attention with many Mixtape appearances andcollaborations with artists from LA to New York, and as far as the UK, as he appears on Scotland 's own, Clarita's single "Hypnotise" along with Baby Sham from the Flipmode Squad. From major motion picture soundtrack credits in the movie,Redline, to songs featured on the CW network, to mainstream press coverage in the Chicago Tribune's Redeye, True Magazine, OkayPlayer, and many others, HP has a tremendous amount of buzz around his name. Taking advantage of his current buzz, HP has also secured a sponsorship with Roaring Lion Energy Drink. Not to mention, that he is also the host/co-founder of the Cypher Lounge Radio show. HP is truly the talk of the industry, the streets, and the net. Not only is Hassahn an emcee, radio personality, and innovator, but he is also an avid Songwriter, as he just recently wrote a song for the highly anticipated new Jodeci album and quite a few other artists as well. He is culturally relevant but by all means a leader and follows his own agenda. Mirroring his own image, Hassahn Phenomenon is here to bring balance to game with is debut album.
